Drink Recipe - Hiccup! Very Simple Irish Coffee!

Irish Coffee

The leaves are turning and the weather is chilling...finally.  I live in L.A. and I am more than ready for Fall or at least a slight change of the seasons.. we don't get all that much weather here. So now that it is finally starting to get at least cooler, I am definitely getting ready for the upcoming holidays.

This time of year always reminds me of The Buena Vista in San Francisco which is supposedly the birth place of Irish coffees here in the U.S. and whether that's true or not, the Irish coffees here are definitely some of the best I have ever had (I was lucky enough to try a coupl ein Ireland as well, and they're good too!).

These drinks are very simple to make.  so lets call them:

Very Simple Irish Coffee:

Just start with a steaming hot cup of coffee and than add 1 1/2 oz. of Irish Whiskey, 1 tsp. of brown sugar and float cold cream on top. Do not mix the cream, just top the drink off with it.

This is also a great great drink for late after tailgating parties, campfires or at the end of a late fall dinner party.  I love to have them on a chilly weekend afternoon while sitting in front of a fire somewhere.  It's almost time to break out the skis.

Let it snow, let it snow.
